Job Summary
Under general supervision of their team’s leadership, perform tasks to aid in the on-going support of end-user environments including personal computers (PC & Macs). PDA’s, and peripherals. Work independently to research and. resolve hardware & software problems and respond to client requests and refer only the most complex problems. Correct hardware, software, and operational problems; maintain service logs; monitors problem/change activities and coordinates involvement of staff, clients, and vendors to ensure effective implementation of resolution of user problems.
Responsibilities
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- HARDWARE/SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE: Install, test, troubleshoots, and maintain hardware and software products including internet and network connectivity for PC’s, Mac’s, PDA’s, and peripherals; implements and monitors standard and procedures; facilitates backup and recovery; and maintains service logs.
- PROVIDE DIRECT USER SUPPORT: Provide telephone, face-to-face and online support to customers.
- EVALUATE USER BUSINESS NEEDS: Analyzes customer procedures. Organizes departmental resources needed and leads design, development and implementation of the most effective solution. Monitors progress of corrective actions to prevent unnecessary delay.
